Travel information
Malmö can conveniently be reached from the major international airport Copenhagen Airport/Kastrup in Denmark; it takes only 20 minutes to downtown Malmö by train over the Öresund Bridge. Copenhagen Airport is the main airport in northern Europe and is served by more than 60 carriers, operating services to and from 125 cities world-wide.
To Malmö By Train
During the day trains depart three times an hour and by night (between 11 pm and 5 am) once an hour. The single fare from Copenhagen Airport to Malmö Central Station is 105 SEK (about 12 Euro, 16 USD, January 2011.) Buy your ticket before going down to the platform over the counter at the DSB booth. There is an extra charge for tickets bought on the train.
To get to the trains, walk straight ahead through the hall when you exit arrivals.
Ticket booths will be on your right hand side after about 50 meters. Trains for Malmö depart from Track 1, which you reach by escalators.
Make sure you know the location of your hotel (see map under the tab “Hotels”) since the train will stop at three different stations in Malmö: first Hyllie, then Triangeln and finally Malmö Central. Most hotels are close to either Triangeln or Malmö Central.
As indicated on the map, Station Triangeln has two exists. Look for the signs on the platform as you get off the train.
For the exit called Smedjegatan take the escalators on your left (walk in the opposite direction of the train).
For the exit called S:t Johannesgatan take the escalators on your right.
To Malmö By Taxi
To get to the taxi ranks, take the first exit on your right as you exit arrivals and get into the big hall. The taxi ranks will then be straight in front of you. When travelling to Malmö, look for the last rank on the left which is where you will find Swedish taxis.

Malmö Airport has some 20 airlines, both scheduled and charter, that operate here. The airport is open 24 hours a day. Distance to the nearest major cities:~ Malmö (30 km), Copenhagen (55 km). Destinations: 34 destinations, of which 30 international (scheduled and charter). Examples of airlines operating: SAS, Malmö Aviation, Wizz Air, Norwegian and Cham Wings.
The airport coaches depart from right outside the terminal.~You are welcomee to buy your ticket on board the coach with a credit or debit card, using a ticket machine at Malmö Airport,~or at the Information~Desk at the~airport.
You will find airport taxis right outside the terminal. Taxi companies charge a fixed price from the airport to Malmö. Always ask what the price will be before starting your journey.
Travelling to Stadionmässan from Station Triangeln
The train from Copenhagen Airport and the bus from Malmö Airport have a stop at the Station Triangeln.
Walking
The walk from Station Triangeln (exit Smedjegatan) it is about 2.5 km. See map for detailed directions.
By Bus
If you prefer taking the bus, your train ticket from the airport is also valid on public transport in Malmö until 4AM the date after it was purchased. Walking to the bus stop square Södervärn from Triangeln (Smedjegatan) takes about 8 min. As you get out of the train station walk straight ahead on the left hand side of the square/alley until you reach a major street called Carl Gustafs Väg (approx. 150 m from the station). Take left on that street and walk towards the round multicoloured building. As you pass that building and reach the crossroads, do not walk onto the square but look for bus stop “K” on your right. From there, catch bus 34 which runs from 6 AM to 10 PM every day. Get off at the fourth stop called Isstadion, and the conference venue will be right in front of you
