Virtual seminars
Draft Program – March 14 to April 15
The ICAE Virtual Seminar will be held from March 14 to April 15 as part of the preparatory process towards VIII ICAE World Assembly.
The next 8th World Assembly of ICAE will be a UNIQUE opportunity to move beyond the assertion that ‘another world is possible’, to ask how we can create a world worth living in for young people and adults across the world.
There has never been a more important time for popular and adult educators to work together, to share experience with other organizations and social movements, and to frame thinking on what a world worth living in – for everyone – would look like, and what role learning can play.
This virtual seminar is a first step towards ICAE World Assembly.
Objectives
With a view to ICAE World Assembly, this seminar intends:
‐ to provide a virtual space for the exchange among ICAE/GEO members, IALLAs, partners, friends and colleagues who are committed to the right to youth and adult education and learning for transformation.
‐ To ensure the access and active participation of all IALLAs, ICAE/GEO members and other interested people who will not be able to attend ICAE World Assembly, in the reflection about the assembly key themes.
‐ To share visions and analysis, from experts and activists who, for different reasons will not be able to participate personally at ICAE World Assembly.
